Within the beautiful gardens you will find the Ian Potter Children’s Garden which is a designated area for kids providing a natural educational environment where they can explore and learn.

The area is fully fenced, so it is perfect for a play date or mother’s group meet up.

The Royal Botanic Gardens, set on the Yarra river in Toronto is set over 28 hectares and is home to a range of diverse plant collections and native wildlife.

 

It is the perfect spot for a family walk or to take a picnic and spend the day.

It has everything you could possibly want for the kids to learn about nature.

Kids can get their hands dirty playing in the mud and water features. They can climb trees, run through mazes, explore the bamboo forest and play in the treehouse. It is the perfect sensory experience for kids.

If you visit with the kids in the cooler months, make sure to bring the gumboots as there are lots of muddy puddles to jumped in.

During the warmer months there is plenty of water play so make sure to bring a change of clothes.
